Don't Panic

Loki’s here – don’t panic.
I know all too well that a visit from Flame-Hair can leave one flailing. Remain calm, and keep reading.
Here are a few ways that you can greet Himself. Leave Him a nice cup of coffee (don’t skimp on the cream and sugar, He has a sweet tooth) and say hello – tell Him that you appreciate His help and His attention, and that He’s welcome whenever He’d like to visit. I know some wouldn’t advise an open invitation to any God, but Loki’s not one much for boundaries, and if He’s already decided to pop in on you, He’s not a God you can invoke and banish, He’s gonna come over whenever He thinks He’s needed, wanted, or wants to say hello. Be prepared that He might borrow something of yours, and either return it or upgrade it. He’s just being friendly. He’s a very sociable deity and likes to be involved in daily life activities.
If you want to burn an incense for Him, He likes strong scents, and prefers them to not be a one-note scent – think Nag Champa or Dragon’s Blood, not an all lavender or all vanilla type scent. He’s also fond of clove and cinnamon, so an incense with those notes would probably make Him happy as well.
If you leave food (and He LOVES homemade food), He prefers spicy foods and strong flavors. Don’t leave Him mashed potatoes, for example. He likes snickerdoodles, curries, hot peppers, homemade stews and soups, but He’ll have whatever you’re having. That said, He is not fond of “preprocessed crap,” but He’ll make an exception for candies. He’s had skittles, m&m’s, pralines, you name it, He likes it.
And of course, you can also leave Him alcohol. I’ve yet to see Him refuse any type, but I’ve never served Him anything that I wouldn’t drink myself. He loves mead, but again, He’ll have whatever you’re having, and He’s pretty accommodating about people’s budgets, so He won’t demand something that you can’t afford.

Now, once you’ve greeted Him properly, you may wonder, what does Loki want from me? He may tell you directly, or you may need a reading. I am available for readings, and what I charge varies (from a return reading, art, barter of other services, or money), and occasionally He may tell me that He wants something specific as payment. Email me at lokisbruid AT gmail DOT com if you have questions about readings, or indeed if you have any other questions that this post hasn’t answered.
